Patricia Ann "Trish" DeGonia of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on Saturday, November 29, 1947 in Bonne Terre, Missouri. She is the daughter of Marian E. (Conzelman) Hornsey and the late, Robert Walter Hornsey. Trish departed this life on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at home in Mineral Point, Missouri having reached the age of sixty-eight years, nine months and ten days. She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Boyer and husband, Steven Brent of Potosi, Missouri; mother, Marian Hornsey of Mineral Point, Missouri; one sister, Catherine Hornsey of House Springs, Missouri; one brother, William "Bill" Hornsey and wife, Judi of Madison, Alabama; one granddaughter, Colleen DeGonia and boyfriend, Taylor Breakfield; one step-grandson, Devon Boyer; brother-in-law, Richard Garrett and wife, Patti Boyer; special nieces, Audrey Sampson and husband, Tim; Sandy Snyder and husband, Wayne; also surviving are other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Walter Hornsey, one sister, Virginia "Ginny" Garrett, one brother, Donald Curtis Hornsey and two nephews, Jeff Hornsey and Christopher Boyer. Trish was always willing to help anyone in need, always thinking of others before herself. In her younger years she enjoyed listening to records and dancing with friends in her parents’ basement and making ceramics with her daughter, Debbie. She always looked forward to cooking family dinners with her mom and granddaughter. She also enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Collen and her nieces and great nieces. Many of her family members relied on Trish for family genealogy information. Talking with her friends and keeping up with all the news, sharing many jokes with her friends was something she loved. Visitation was held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will resume on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 8:30 AM until 9:45 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Rodger Fleming celebrating. Serving as pallbearers were: Tim Sampson, Taylor Breakfield, Brent Boyer, Devon Boyer, Steve Boyer, Wayne Snyder and Jared DeGonia.
