Belann “Bel” Marie Miller was born June 11, 1963 in Columbus, OH to Raymond Anthony Goniwika and Linda Jean Mutzabaugh Goniwika. She passed away June 9, 2016 at Freeman Hospital, Joplin, MO. She attended school in Michigan and graduated in 1981 from Oscar A. Carson High School, Rockwood, MI. She lived in Michigan until she met and married Larry Miller. They were married June 25, 1997 in Miami, OK and made their home in Iantha, MO. She was very active as a cheer mom and attended her children and grandchildren’s activities. She was proud of her children and grandchildren and was always ready to listen and was supportive of her family. Bel enjoyed canning and cooking, she would try to grow her own vegetables, but would usually end up putting a sign in the garden, “I tried, but it died”. She enjoyed fishing and visiting Prairie State Park. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and would put her family and friends first even after her illness. She enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her husband Larry of the home, children Bellinda Mack, Rayelin Miller, Erik Miller and wife Rachel, Wade Miller and wife Rachel and Amanda Mae Miller, grandchildren; Garrett, Delaney, Gunner, Madison and Maddox, also surviving are her brothers Ray Goniwika and wife Karla, David Goniwika and wife Lisa, a sister Lynette Trigge and husband George, also survived by her dear friend Becky Cook of Lamar, MO. Bel was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be Sunday, June 12, 2016 4pm-6pm at Konantz Warden Funeral Home. At the close of the visitation there will be a time to share memories of her life and friendship.
