Dale A. Potts, 62, Independence, MO passed away August 29, 2016. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 West Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO 64052; cremation. Dale was born December 1, 1953 and graduated from Fayette High School. He was an electrician for the Certainteed Corporation until his retirement in 2015. He enjoyed fishing, canoeing, riding his motorcycle and was a huge sports fan. He was always willing to help people. He was a member of the Electrical Workers Union. Dale was preceded in death by grandson Jaydon Heiser. He is survived by daughter Crystal Heiser and husband Matthew; step-son D.J. Roberts, all of Independence, MO; grandchildren Valecia and Therron Heiser; sister Ellen Weese, Marceline, MO; half-brother Robert Lee Henson, TN and ex-wife Debra Ellis-Clubine, Independence, MO.
