Christina Wilson 31, and Mathew Wilson 6, of Independence, MO passed away on Aug 10 and Aug 15, 2016 respectively. Visitation will be Aug 21, 2016 from 1-4 pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 4pm at the chapel. Christina was born on September 20, 1984 in Kansas City, MO to Leland Garrett and Jessie Callahan. She enjoyed cooking, decorating cakes, boating, but most importantly her children. Survivors include; husband Mathew Wilson, daughters Cody Buckley and Madison Wilson; son Caden Wilson; mother Jessie Callahan; father Leland Garrett; brothers Christopher Garrett and Bryan Garrett; sisters Chrystal Pollock and Christy Garrett, a large extended family and many friends. Christina is preceded in death by her grandparents and her son Mathew Wilson. Mathew was born on December 10, 2009 in Independence, MO to Mathew and Christina (Garrett) Wilson. He was all set to start the 1st grade at Odessa R-7 with his younger brother starting kindergarten. Mathew enjoyed playing video games, especially Minecraft and Call of Duty. He also enjoyed making silly videos to post on YouTube. Survivors include; father Mathew Wilson, sisters Cody Buckley and Madison Wilson; brother Caden Wilson; grandparents Leland Garrett, Jessie Callahan, Matt Wilson, Brenda Wilson and Great Grandmother Lucille Lee; a very large extended family and lots of friends.
