John Richey

John M. Richey 1960-2016 Chillicothe, Missouri- John Michael Richey, 55, Chillicothe, formerly of Cameron, Missouri passed away on June 2, 2016. John was born on September 5, 1960 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Roxey L. and Rosemary (Sturm) Richey. John was a 1978 graduate of Savannah High School. He managed a Color Title Store in Boulder, CO. He lived many years in California, where he owned and operated Dent Magic. In 2007, John moved back to and lived in the St. Joseph/Cameron area. In 2015, John started attending North Central Missouri College in Trenton and Chillicothe locations. He was pursuing his Associates degree with an emphasis in Maintenance management and Welding. John was full of life, always had a crazy joke to tell and made friends everywhere he went. John most recently completed certification to do disaster relief. He was a born again Christian and attended church at the Southern Baptist Church, Chillicothe, MO. He will always be remembered for his love for GOD, his family and his country. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary and brother, Mark E. Richey. Survivors: 2 daughters, Alicia Renee Richey, Ponderay, ID and Breanna Lee Richey, Brooklyn, NY; father and best friend, Roxey Lee Richey, Cameron; siblings; Stephen (Betty) Richey, St. Joseph, MO, Deborah Keefer, St. Joseph, MO, Kenneth (Christine) Richey, Castle Rock, CO, Rosie (Jeff) Beemer, St. Joseph, MO and Roxanne (Darrell) Rooney, Cameron, MO; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 1-2:00 PM, prior to the service. Inurnment: Cameron Memory Gardens, Cameron, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations to Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, 222 W. Third Street, Cameron Missouri 64429 for expenses. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
