Doris L. Elliott 1927-2016 Cameron, Missouri- Doris L. (Moore) Elliott, 89, Cameron, Missouri passed away on August 14, 2016. Doris was born on July 12, 1927 to C.G. “Jack” Moore and Stella (Groebe) Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mitch Elliott; and brother, Norman Moore. Doris was a 1945 graduate of Cameron High School and attended Northwest Missouri State Teachers College. On May 10, 1947, Doris married Wayne M. Elliott. He survives of the home. Additional survivors: Son, Lynn and wife, Peggy (Waller) Elliott, Bullhead City, AZ; daughter-in-law, Dorothy (Sanborn) Elliott, Kansas City, MO; granddaughter, Jessica Elliott, Morgan Hill, CA; brother, Howard Moore, Springfield, MO; several nieces and nephews. Memorial service: 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron, Missouri. No scheduled visitation. Inurnment at a later date in Osborn Evergreen Cemetery, Osborn, MO.
