William J. “Bill” Williams, age 66, passed away on Wednesday April 27, 2016 at his home in Forest, MS. Visitation will be held on Friday April 29, 2016 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Steele Baptist Church in Forest, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday April 30, 2016 at 11:00AM at Steele Baptist Church in Forest, MS. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Joey Smith, Bro. Reggie Williams, and Bro. John Sharp. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements. Bill was born on August 27, 1949 to John and Helen Williams in Peekskill, NY. He was a United States Army Veteran who was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and Sharpshooter (Rifle). He was a resident of the Steele Community for nine years and a member of Steele Baptist Church for five years. Bill was also an avid hunter and fisherman; he loved to paint and do all kinds of hobbies, especially being on his tractor working in the dirt. There was no doubt that he loved his Lord and his family. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Williams; and his brother, Albert Williams. He is survived by his wife, Anita Williams of Forest, MS; his children, Dawn Williams Houck of Magnolia, TX, John W. Williams and his wife Christina of Mt. Upton, NY, and William J. Jarosz of Houston, TX; step-children, Kimberly Salpietra Robinson and husband John of Brandon, MS, Brandon Hatcher and wife Christine of Ponchatoula, LA, Kelly Salpietra Curtis and husband James of Youngsville, LA; four sisters, Sandra Marchetti and husband Luigi of Largo, FL, Micki Minutolo and husband Guiseppe of Seminole, FL, Carol Ciriaco and husband Steve of Staten Island, NY, and Cheryl Daly of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Thomas Houck, Joseph Houck, Cinnamon Williams, Reighan Jarosz, Mialeen Jarosz, Landon Barnes, Mason Barnes, Amber Robinson, Andrew Robinson, Jessica Hatcher, Savannah Hatcher, Ian Curtis, and Dylan Curtis; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Brandon Hatcher, James Curtis, John Robinson, William Jarosz, Thomas Houck, and Joseph Houck. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ian Curtis, Dylan Curtis, and Landon Barnes.
