Mr. James Lewis Hollingsworth, age 81, passed away on Tuesday September 6, 2016 at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 7, 2016 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and again on Thursday September 8, 2016 from 9:30PM until 10:50AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday September 8, 2016 at 11:00AM at the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Lake, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Duncan, Rev. Kenny Lang, and Rev. Tommy Anderson. Burial will follow in the Salem Baptist Cemetery in Lake, MS. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Hollingsworth had lived most of his life in the Goodhope Community in Scott County and was a member of the Goodhope Baptist Church. He was a former business owner and farmer, and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish in his younger years. He served his country in the U.S. Army for two years. Mr. Hollingsworth passed away on his 57th year wedding anniversary. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Dolories McDill Hollingsworth; his parents, Lewis Amos Hollingsworth and Susie Mae Graham Hollingsworth. He is survived by his children, Renee Burks (Charles L.) of Laurel, MS, Tina “Rhonda” Davis (David) of Lake, MS, Rutz Hollingsworth (Carolyn) of Lake, MS, Ron Hollingsworth of Lake, MS, and Redell Hollingsworth of Lake, MS; four grandchildren, Chelsea Burks, Quinton Davis (Lauren), Kaitlyn Porter (Shane), and Jamison Davis, one great grandchild, Stella Clarke Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Barry Jones, Stanley McDill, Eddie McDill, David Davis, Chad Cole, Butch Hollingsworth, Gregg Hollingsworth, and Ted Hollingsworth. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bennie Ware, Terry Judge, Durwood Everett, Earl Posey, Thurman Harrell, and Jimmy McDill.
