Derek M. Henning died Friday, June 17, 2016 at the age of 42. He was born January 28, 1974 in Carson City, MI the son of Michael and Shirley (Clandening) Henning. Derek was a graduate of St. Johns High School, Class of 1992 and attended Ferris State University. He was a self-employed licensed builder. Surviving are his parents, Mike and Shirley; a daughter, Kamy Marie Henning; sister, Melissa (Brian) Fisher; his grandmother, Jeannette Powers and several, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell Henning, Richard Clandening and Thelma Antcliff. Private services will be held. The family was assisted with these arrangements by Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, St. Johns.
