Patricia A. Schmidt was born June 8, 1931 and passed from this life on July 28, 2016 to be reunited with her beloved daughter and husband who her heart ached and longed to be with. Raised in Kendall, MI, she met the love of her life Everette Schmidt. They married on October 21, 1950. Together they raised six children; Bridget (Kevin) Rex, Rick (Joyce) Schmidt, Denise Schmidt-who preceded in death, Randy (Cheryl) Schmidt, Jody (Steve) Cobble, Marcie (Rudy) Torres. She also had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who each had a special place in her heart. She also had a great love for her dog Sophie. Patricia had a very gentle soul with a warm smile and kind words for everyone. Friends and family may join the family for graveside services for both Patricia and Everette on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 10:00 am at Mountain Home Cemetery, Otsego where they will be placed to rest together forever. A luncheon will follow at the VFW Hall in Otsego.
