Marcella Dean Foster Marcella Dean Foster, age 75 of Ludington passed away on Sunday September 4, 2016 at Oakview Medical Care Facility in Ludington. She was born on September 15, 1940 in Mackinaw City, MI, daughter of the late William and Marion Gillett. She graduated from Scottville High School in 1958. Marcella married George E. Foster on April 3, 1965 in Centerville, MI. Marcella worked at Pinkerton Drugs in Scottville and then later at Kmart in Ludington for 20 years until she retired. She loved board games, card games, baking, playing Miss Packman and doing ceramics. Marcella is survived by her husband, George Foster of Ludington; sons, Marc (Tammy) Foster and Scott (Sarah) Foster; grandchildren, Ronald (Naomi) Krzyzanowski and Aranda, Cassidy and Trinity Foster; brothers, Merlin Drier, William (Roberta) Gillett, Bruce (Brenda) Gillett and Barry Gillett; sisters, Beaverly Nichols and Beth (David) Dufon; brother-in-law, Robert Pinkerton, Jr.; sister-in-law’s, Gen Zwinger, Sandra Dole, Pat Foster, Janice Drier, Judy Drier and Donna Drier; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marlene Pinkerton; brothers, Marvin “Moose” Drier, Jr. and Maurice “Jock” Drier; father and mother-in-law, Roland and Valentine Foster; sister-in-law, Beverly Lathers; brother-in-law, Gerald Foster; and her favorite dog, Grover. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service for Marcella will be held at 7:00PM on Thursday September 8, 2016 at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington with Pastor Joseph Hilyard officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00PM until time of service. Memorial contributions in memory of Marcella may be directed to the Foster Family.
