Helen Fryar
Helen LaPensee Fryar, age 75, of Ludington, MI peacefully passed away at home on Tuesday, January 12th. Helen was born on April 1, 1940 in Sudbury Ontario Canada daughter of the late Xavier LaFramboise and Gertrude Boivin. Helen attended the University of Toronto and obtained her teaching certificate. She later got an accounting certificate from Rock Valley College. She worked at Keith country Day School in Rockford, IL for 28 years and eventually became the Assistant Head Master of Finance & Administration. Helen retired in 2009. Helen married her loving husband Miles Fryar on March 17, 1991. She enjoyed spending time with her family and being a grandmother. She also enjoyed painting and traveling. Helen is survived by her Husband Miles Fryar; children: Michael (Kathy) LaPensee of South Lyon, Lisa-Ann Smith (Rick) of Pittsburgh, PA, Annette (Mark) Kantzler of Tampa, FL and Laurie LaPensee; brothers Gary LaFramboise of Phoenix, AZ and Ken LaFramboise; sister Linda LaFramboise of Toronto, Ontario; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in the spring of 2016 at the Tamarac Club House in Ludington, MI. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
