William "Lloyd" Sexton Obituary

William Lloyd Sexton, 82, of Bronson, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016 at home, surrounded by his family. The funeral service will be Friday, September 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Pastor Terry Siler from the First Congregational Church officiating. Interment will follow at Bronson Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 4-8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson. Lloyd was born July 13, 1934 in Stone Coal, West Virginia to James & Oma (Marcam) Sexton. He married Phyllis R. Walker on May 14, 1955 in Bronson. Mr. Sexton worked for Bronson Plating for 47 years until his retirement in 1998. Lloyd was a member of the First Congregational Church in Bronson. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf. Lloyd and his wife enjoyed traveling and spending the winter months in Lakeland, FL. Lloyd is survived by his wife Phyllis, his children Steve (Denise) Sexton of Coldwater, Doug (Pamala) Sexton of Bronson, James (Lula) Sexton of Union City, Suzi (Brian) Hoard of Bronson, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and 1 nephew. He was preceded in death by his grandson Willy Sexton and great grandson Jaden Steffey. Memorials may be directed to the First Congregational Church or the Bronson Food Pantry. www.dutcherfh.com.
