Roseanna Ritter Obituary

Roseanna Marquetta Ritter, 66, of Bronson, passed away on October 1, 2016 at Community Health Center of Branch County. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Church of Christ at Bronson with Evangelist Mike Roberts officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, October 7, 2016 and from 12 Noon – 1:00 PM on Saturday at the Church of Christ at Bronson. The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson. Roseanna was born March 2, 1950 to Kenneth and Jackqulene (Spencer) Kelley in Battle Creek. She graduated from Bronson High School. She was first married to Steven Danbury and is currently married to Thomas Ritter. She worked as a CENA at Thurston Woods Nursing Home in Sturgis and mainly as a Beautician at Cindy’s Beauty Boutique in Bronson and previously at Wohler’s Salon in Bronson. Roseanna was a member of the Church of Christ at Bronson. She was a longtime cheerleading coach for Bronson Rocket Football. Roseanna enjoyed camping, crocheting, needlepoint, crafting, but she especially loved being with her grandchildren and their activities. She was a true “Mother Hen” She is survived by her husband Thomas of Bronson; her mother Jackqulene Kelley of Bronson; her children, Christopher Danbury of Bronson, Charles (Elizabeth) Danbury of Bronson, Chad (Jocelyn) Danbury of Coldwater; her step-children, Mark (Anita) Ritter of Sturgis and Greg Ritter of Bronson; her 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; her siblings, Andy (Brenda) Kelley of Bronson, Susan (David) McDaniel of Coldwater, Deborah Kelley of Elkhart, Indiana, Michael (Romain) Kelley of Coldwater, Jeff Kelley of Bronson, Scott (Rosie) Kelley of Coldwater and Carol (Donald) Wirgau of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Roseanna was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Kelley. Memorials may be directed to the Church of Christ at Bronson, 718 E. Chicago St., Bronson, MI 49028.
