Leo Forker

Leo H. Forker ,70, of Coldwater, passed away on Saturday, October, 8, 2016 at the Laurels of Coldwater. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 13, 2016 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Coldwater with The Very Rev. Mark Vyverman officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater. A visitation will take place from 10:00 – 11:00 AM prior to the Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Coldwater. Leo was born October 29, 1945 to Franklin Henry and Jennie (Vicari) Forker in Coldwater. He graduated from Coldwater High School. Leo married Frances L. Closson on June 17, 1967 in Coldwater and she preceded him in death on May 31, 2009. He worked as a laborer for Quality Converters in Orland, Indiana for 30 years. Leo was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus-Coldwater. Leo was a football and Detroit Tigers fan. He loved dogs. He will be remembered by his smirk, his sense of humor and as being a very helpful, giving and caring man. Leo is survived by his cousins, Ron (Fran) Karasiewicz, Mamie Vicari, Tony (LaVonne) Vicari and Leo (Linda) Vicari. He is also survived by his friends John (Pat) Schmidt. A special thank you goes out to the staff at the Laurels of Coldwater and the staff at SouthernCare Hospice.
