Conrad F. Wotta

Conrad Francis Wotta, 77 of Bronson passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Borgess Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary’s of Assumption Church with Rev. Richard Fritz officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 15, 2016 from 2 – 8 P.M., with the Rosary to begin at 7:00 P.M., at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson. Conrad was born June 9, 1939 to Anthony Joseph and Rose (Czajkowski) Wotta in Matteson Twp. After graduation from Bronson High School, he began a long working career at Sturgis Newport Papermill as a press operator. Due to health problems, he had to retire after 31 years of service. He was a long-time member of St. Mary’s of Assumption. Conrad enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, and old cars. He was a life-long hobby farmer and liked being busy. Conrad always let you know where you stood with him. He lived his life being honest, helpful, and straight forward. Conrad’s true passion in life was spending time with his grandchildren. He will be missed by many. Mr. Wotta is survived by his children Janine (Bob) Kolvitis of New Jersey, Candace (Fred) Shoup of Bronson, and Anthony (Amber) Wotta of Bronson; his brother John Wotta of Bronson; his grandchildren Bobby and Dylan Kolvitis, Talyssa (Josh) Shepherd, Timothy Ransbottom, Courtnee (Princeton) Potts, Brandon Ransbottom, Andrew Shoup, Hudson, Emerie, Sayler, and Warner Wotta; his great grandchildren Kaden Shepherd, Landon Ransbottom, Kalyeah Potts, and Heidey Ransbottom; and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister Leonette Kemery. Memorials may be directed to the Bronson Community Schools Scholarship Fund. www.dutcherfh.com
