Of St. Cloud, Florida passed away on Sunday August 7, 2016 at the age of 46. He was born in Brighton, MA, the son of Kathryn (LaMachia) and Peter Walsh. Peter grew up in Fidelis Way, Brighton, MA. He attended school at St. Columbkille School and Boston College. He received advanced degrees in education from Simmons College. Peter worked as a clubhouse attendant and security at Fenway Park for the Red Sox for several years. He was a special education teacher for the past 22 years, most recently at North High School and Roosevelt Elementary School in Worcester, MA, and Hickory Tree Elementary and Partin Settlement Elementary Schools in Florida. He was an assistance football and softball coach at North High. Peter loved life and being around people. Those that met him will never forget him. His smile and personality captured the hearts of everyone he met and he made friends everywhere he went. Peter loved to joke around, dress up for school dismissal, and would do anything for anyone. He was a huge Disney fan, and loved his big dogs and spending time with friends. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah (Saunders), cherished daughter, Kacey, of St. Cloud, FL; dear mother, Kathryn, of Reading; loving sisters, Kathy, her husband, Kenny Mahoney, and their sons, Michael and Patrick, of Reading; Debbie Walsh, and her son, Andrew, of Bridgewater; mother-in-law, Sue Saunders; brother-in-law, Matt Saunders; sisters-in-law, Pam Sklut, her husband Danny and their sons Mark and Brian; Chris Besaw, her husband Mike, and their children Zachary, Rachel, and Hannah; Jen Saunders; and Heather Saunders all of the Shrewsbury, MA area. In addition, he leaves many extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Peter Walsh. A Memorial Service in celebration of Peter's Life will be held at a later date.
