Raffaele DiChiara, 85 years of age, of Medford, formerly of East Boston, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016.

Cherished son of the late Antonio and Giovanna (Ferriero) DiChiara. Beloved husband of Rosa (Capasso) DiChiara. Loving father of the late Anthony J. DiChiara and his surviving wife Cathy. Adored grandfather of Anthony R. DiChiara and Christina Walsh. Great-grandfather of Daniela Walsh. Caring brother of Giovanna, Amelia, Elena, Concetta and the late Sabato, Mario and Guirino DiChiara. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends will honor Raffaele’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St. REVERE on Monday, June 13th from 4PM to 8PM and again at 9AM Tuesday morning before leaving in procession to St. Anthony’s Church in Revere for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in his honor at 10AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in Malden, MA.
