Marotta, Luciano S. “Aggie” 92, Of East Boston, passed away Thursday September 1, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Josephine ( Gassiraro) Marotta. Loving father of Patrick Gemma and his wife Denise of Revere. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer Pino and her husband John, Kristin Hanscom and her husband Roger and Vincent Gemma. Great Grandfather of Ryan, Khloe and Kasey Hanscom and Michael Burke. Dear brother of Joseph Marotta of Winthrop, and the late Angela Marie Marotta, Josephine Di Blasi, Mary Braccia, Rose Glaze, Virginia Caggiano, and Liborio and Salvatore Marotta. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass in Luciano’s honor at St. Anthony’s Church, 250 Revere St. REVERE on Tuesday, September 6 at 10:00AM. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of Flowers remembrances may be made to Alzheimer’s Association 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472.
