McCarthy, Elizabeth (Schipani) 86, of Revere formerly of East Boston, passed away September 18, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Frederick McCarthy. Loving mother Joseph McCarthy of Revere. Dear sister of Marie Borowski and her husband Bruce of FL, and Leonora Schipani of Revere, and the late Theresa Grifoni, Anthony, Thomas Jr, Robert and Donald Schipani. Cherished grandmother of Frederick McCarthy of FL., Joseph McCarthy Jr. of Revere and the late Shavonne McCarthy. Adored great –grandmother of Frederick McCarthy Jr. of FL. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor Elizabeth’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St. REVERE on Thursday, September 22 from 5PM to 7PM and again Friday morning at 9:00AM followed by a service in our chapel of the resurrection at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
