Steven Allen Nunes of Taunton, MA died suddenly at home on August 10, 2016 at the age of 62. Son of the late John and Albertina Nunes, he was the loving brother of Jack and his wife Cindy of Seekonk, Bob and his wife Dyann and Jim and his wife Cindy of Taunton, MA. He was the beloved uncle to Chris, Deanna, Matt and Aryanna Nunes and Justina McLeod. He also leaves his Aunt Dolores Nunes of Taunton and many cousins. Steve had many wonderful friends especially Cindy and Marge McAloon of Taunton. He was the partner of the late David Correia. Steve was a gentle and kind soul who loved to laugh. He always saw the best in everyone he met. He was a dedicated New England Sports Fan and enjoyed his trips to casinos and Cape Cod. He was a friend of Bill W. for 22 years and helped and supported many in need. He was born and raised in Taunton and was a 1973 graduate of Taunton High School. He was retired from the Commonwealth of MA after 36 years of service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at Saint Andrew the Apostle Church, 19 Kilmer Ave, Taunton on Friday, September 16 at 6:00 pm.
