OAKHAM- Marcelle (Dumas) Szczuka,90, - passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 12,2016 in Holden Rehab. & Nursing Home where she resided for the past 8 years. Marcelle was born in North Brookfield on June 4, 1926 and lived most of her life in Oakham.. She had 4 sisters all who have predeceased her. Marcelle is predeceased by her husband of 54 years Robert Szczuka in 2001. She leaves her loving family Sandra Trzpit & her husband Robert; 2 grandchildren Michael and Laura; a great granddaughter Ella ; extended family and friends. The family of Marcelle wishes to thank the staff of Holden Nursing Home and Jewish Healthcare Hospice for the compassion, care, and love that she received. A funeral for Marcelle will be held on Monday, October 17,2016 with a Mass at 11:00AM in St Thomas A Becket Church 398 Vernon St. S. Barre. A calling hour will be held 9:30-10:30 prior to the funeral in Pillsbury Funeral Home 96 S.Barre Rd.
