Frederick J. Kuppens, 91, husband of the late Alyce M. (Donahue) Kuppens, died Monday, June 7 in North Conway, NH. Born in Hartford, CT Fred was a graduate of Mechanic Arts High School in Boston. He was a United States Veteran of World War II and was a member of the Vittori Rocci Post #56 in Beverly. Fred worked for New England Telephone for over forty years and was retired. He was an avid fisherman and skier and was often seen lunching at the Gibson Senior Center in North Conway. He was active in local politics. Fred traveled the free world with his wife visiting the Pacific Rim, Africa, Europe and the British Isles.

Surviving him are four daughters, Michelle Kuppens, Candace Pike and her husband Stephen, all of Beverly; Allyson Kuppens of Sunnyvale, CA and Kathleen “Kate” Ralph and her husband Christopher of Wakefield; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Frank Kuppens and his wife Eleanor of Milton; and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Frederick J. Kuppens, Jr. and the brother of the late Richard Kuppens.

A funeral service will be held at Campbell – Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly (North Beverly location) on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be prior from 9 to 11 A.M. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Frederick J.
