Matthew Belanger
Matthew Robert Belanger passed away at home on August 14 , 2016. He was born on November 25, 1958 in Hartford, CT to George R. Belanger and Jean Christy Belanger. Matthew grew up in Long Island, NY and graduated from Sayville High School. Following high school, he attended Pema Community College in Tucson, AZ where he studied art. Matthew lived in Waldoboro for the last 30 years. He enjoyed doing his painting and sculpting. Matthew was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by three siblings, Gregory Belanger and his wife Marion of Guilford, CT, Ken Belanger and his wife Carla of Discovery Bay, CA, and Kimberly Sylvester and her husband Skip of Orr’s Island, ME. Private family services will be held. Hall’s of Waldoboro has care of the arrangements.
