Brant Ralph Perry, 63 of Chelsea, died at home on September 21, 2016 in Chelsea. He was born in Rockland on June 15, 1953, to Mildred and Benjamin Ralph Perry, Jr. Brant graduated from Erskine Academy and was a laborer all his life. His passion was playing the drums. He played in several bands. He was a loving, caring, easy going individual who liked to tease. Brant is predeceased by his mother, Mildred Rood and his father Benjamin R. Perry, Jr. He is survived by his sisters Sandee Gordon of Chelsea and Dorothy Parker of Friendship; brothers, Robert Perry of Windsor, and Brian Perry of Rockland, and 15 other half brothers and sisters around the United States. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 5-7 PM at Hall’s of Waldoboro. A graveside service to celebrate Brant’s life will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Shepherd Cemetery, Route 32 in Jefferson with Pastor Tom Rawley officiating.
