Hilda Perrow

Millinocket – Hilda (Glidden) Perrow, 89, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and wonderful staff at Katahdin Health Care, on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. She was born November 26, 1926 in East Millinocket to Melvin and Edith (Perry) Glidden. Hilda kept her birth year a secret for many years! She also volunteered for several local organizations. Hilda enjoyed music, travelling, and spending time with her family and many friends. She is survived by her children, Scott Perrow and wife Deanna of Readfield, Cathy Horne and husband Brian of Belfast, and Carl Perrow of Millinocket; four grandchildren, Kelly Hopkins and husband Todd, Joseph Perrow, all of Readfield, Kenneth Colby Horne of Belfast, and Garren Horne of Guilford, Connecticut; and many very special nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, twelve brothers and three sisters. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Hilda’s nephew Jim Gee and wife Monica, niece Dorothy Baron, the entire staff at Katahdin Health Care and Beacon Hospice. Friends are invited to visit with the family 1 – 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, June 1 at the Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket, where funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. with the Rev.
