Otis Powell, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Liberty, he died August 9, 2016 at his home. He was 64 years old and was retired from Colonial Pipeline with 35 years of service. He was a US Air Force veteran. Funeral service will be at Amite River Baptist Association, 4576 Hwy. 48, Liberty, MS on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:30am conducted by Rev. Emmanuel Powell. Burial will be at Little Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Liberty, MS. He is survived by his mother, Mildred Powell, siblings, Helen Powell; Wilbert Powell and wife, Elaine; Catherine Powell; Charles Powell and wife, Shirley; and Lannis Powell. Numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Rev. Allen Powell, Jr.
