Services for Wilfred “Freddy” Book will be at 2PM, Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Good Road Pentecostal Church, Jonesville with Rev. Bryan Taylor and Rev. Jr. Trisler officiating. Visitation will be from 5PM, Monday, August 29th until time of service at 2PM, Tuesday, August 30th at the church under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria. Wilfred “Freddy” Book, 74, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 at his home. He loved fishing, hotrods and playing the guitar. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Jo Book; sons, Kenny M. Book, Robert Y. Book, Carl J. Book and Mark J. Book; sister, Bonnie Phifer; brothers, Terry Book, Marty Book, Frank Book and Jimmy Book. Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Evelyn Ballance; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Linda Whitley of Castroville, TX, Judy Reynolds, Mary Embry and Nancy Sanford; brother, Jeff Book; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved pets, Cujo and Leroy. Pallbearers will be Austin Book, Carl Book, Mark Book, II and Robert Book, II.
