SMITH, Margaret J. “Peggy”, 85, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Baptist Health. Born in Flint, Michigan, she was the former Peggy McLeod and retired from the First National Bank but most recently worked part-time for Macy’s Department Store. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; and children, Michael Smith and Gail Ball. Peggy is survived by her children, Mark Smith and Nancy Oyler (Wally); grandchildren, Lindsey Short (Jason), Julie and Karen Ball, Pete (Nora) and Gus Oyler, Renee Sewell (John), and Sean Oyler (Holly); and great-grandchildren, Christian Short, and Amber and Keiley Sewell. Her memorial visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with an informal memorial service to follow.
