Dorothy Vanderhoff Obituary

Vanderhoff, Dorothy Rose (Kremer), 94, of Louisville, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, October 23, 2016 at the Presbyterian Home of Louisville. Born in Louisville, she was a member of St. James Catholic Church, and was a volunteer at St. Anthony’s Hospital. She held several memberships, including American Legion Auxiliary, St. Ann’s Confraternity, Highland Post 201, 8, and 40, and St. James Alter Society. She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, James E. Vanderhoff. Dorothy is survived by her children, Dianna Lloyd (Jim), Kenny (Paula), Gary (Carol), and John Vanderhoff, and Margaret L. Metzger (Bud); brother, Paul Kremer; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at St. James Catholic Church, 1826 Edenside Avenue, with burial to follow in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Tuesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville or Presbyterian Homes of Louisville.
