Gregory Thomas Smith, 64, passed away Monday, October 26th, 2015. He was born August 18th, 1951 in Williamson, West Virginia, son of Mary (Nikolich) and the late Thomas Smith. Gregory was an avid UK basketball and football fan and he enjoyed horse racing at Keeneland. In addition to his mother, Greg is survived by his daughter, Mary Ellen Elizabeth Smith and his son, John David Gregory Smith; one sister, Nikki (Denny) Bailey; one brother, Mike (Kim) Smith; four nieces and one nephew. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Smith. The family will hold a private memorial service. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of the Bluegrass or to St. Joseph Hospital.
