Max Vance Obituary

Max H. Vance (91) of Falmouth, KY passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Pine Meadows Nursing Home in Lexington, KY. He was born in West Liberty, KY on January 25, 1925, son of the late Brian and Hattie Morris Vance. Max was a WWII Veteran of the United States 5th Air Force, a member of the American Legion Post 109, and a Mason for 37 years. In addition to his parents, Max is preceded in death by his daughter Deborah Vance, Stepson Daniel Clifford Turley, Siblings Roebenie Fischer, Johnny Vance, Jewell Lewis, Robina Fischer and Frankie Osbourne. Survivors include Wife Geneva Flynn Vance (of 61 years), Children Dennis, Marsha Vance and Linda (Jerry) Joiner Step-Children Connie Sue and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 2-4pm Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Peoples Funeral Home- Falmouth, KY. Funeral service will immediately follow at 4pm also at the funeral home. Burial will be 2pm Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY under full Military Honors, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home.
