Mildred Grace Burns

Mildred Grace Burns age 90, widow of Philmore Burns, went to be with the Lord Sunday June 19, 2016 at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center. Grace was a former employee of Parker Seal Company of Berea and Sodexo Berea College Food Service. Grace was also the oldest member of the Wayside Christian Church. Grace was born in Clay County Kentucky to the late Noah and Bertha Bowling Hibbard, she was also preceded in death by her husband Philmore Burns, her sister Beulah Asher, and her daughter Patty Shouse. Grace is survived by her grandchildren: Phillip (Lora) Shouse, Grasha (Randy) Cain, and Patrick Shouse, her great grandchildren: Scott (Kala) Cain, Seth Cain, Sara (Cody) Robinson, and Dwayne (Paige) Shouse, and her great-great-grandchildren: Abram Cain, Stella Grace Cain, and her special caregiver Kathy Spillman. Funeral services will be Thursday June 23, 2016 at 11 am at Lakes Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Lutes officiating. Pallbearers will be great-grandsons Scott Cain, Seth Cain, Dwayne Shouse, Cody Robinson, Paul Dunn, and Andy Dunn. Burial will be in the Berea Cemetery.
