Janice Aline Goodlet, 72 of Rushville, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, KS, with Rev. Keith Hoover officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Creek Cemetery, Rushville, MO. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the funeral home. Janice was born April 19, 1944, in Atchison, KS, the daughter of Russell and Genelle (Farmer) Rains. She was the Vice President of Customer Services at Exchange National Bank for forty-nine years, retiring in 2010. Janice was a member of Sugar Creek Christian Church and Ladies Aid. She volunteered at the Atchison Hospital Auxiliary. Janice enjoyed her retirement and spending time with her grandson. Janice married Kenneth Wayne Goodlet on November 4, 1962 at Short Creek Baptist Church, he survives of the home. Additional survivors include a son; Todd and Tracy Goodlet, DeKalb, MO, a grandson, Colton Goodlet, DeKalb, MO, three brothers; Kenneth and Joyce Rains, Rushville, MO, Virgil Rains, Atchison, KS, Robert and Sally Rains, Atchison, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Kelly Goodlet.
