LeRoy M. Huntley, the son of Darrell and Delma (Lowe) Huntley, was born November 8, 1932, near Wallingford, Iowa. He passed away Monday, July 4, 2016, at Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville, Iowa, at the age of 83.

He attended school at High Lake Country School and then the Wallingford School.

LeRoy was employed with various jobs over the years including Golden Sun, Horse Kill, Mink Farm and Glasstite. For hobbies, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and stock car races.

He was a member of United Methodist Church in Estherville.

Left to cherish LeRoy's memory are his children, Ron (Jennifer) Huntley of Jackson, Minnesota; Edith (Bob) Mutschler of Bricelyn, Minnesota; Harold “Jr” (Anne) Huntley of Blue Earth, Minnesota; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Bessie Reinhardt of Dunnell, Minnesota and Lulabelle Schwidder of Estherville.

He has been preceded in death by his wife, Lois; an infant son, Oscar; his parents; sisters, Hazel Christensen and Lila Meyers.
