Mary Ann Ann Johnson

Mary Ann Johnson, age 79, of Flushing, Ohio, formerly of Madison, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, West Virginia. Born December 7, 1936 in Bedford, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Gayle and Fern (Watson) Robertson. She studied business at Ivy Tech State College and worked in medical insurance and billing for Dr. Maassen in Seymour, Indiana and Dr. Harris in Madison. She had also worked at the former Bacon's Department Store and Plaza Shop. Ten years ago she moved to Ohio from Madison. She enjoyed gardening and her dog, Came, and spending time with her friend and companion, Doyle Pickering. She will be sadly missed by her loving daughter, Deb Earnhart of North Vernon, Indiana; her loving son, L. Dale Miller of Woodbridge, Virginia; four grandchildren: Shannon Walker, Brent Miller, Tiffany Miller and Elizabeth Fox Perkins; four great grandchildren: Shelby, Riley, Kenneth and Samantha; and one great great granddaughter, Charli Long. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fern and Dick Robertson; her husband, Mac Johnson; one brother, J.W. Leach; and one grandson, Chad Earnhart. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, with interment to follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Monday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
