Mr. Donald Keith Orndorff, of Raleigh, Illinois, formerly of Madison, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Indiana, the son of Raymond "Red" and Joyce (Price) Orndorff. Mr. Orndorff worked for Kerr McGee Coal Mines in Illinois for eighteen years. He also had a sign shop, Partners and Fun, and owned and operated a semi tractor/trailer. He enjoyed motorcycles, street rods, and was a pilot who loved to fly. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a Christian. He will be sadly missed by his wife, the former Constance E. "Connie" VanDeveer, to whom he was married on June 19, 1971; one daughter and son-in-law, Dawanna and Richard Wilson of Galatia, Illinois; and two grandchildren: Haylie and Dale Wilson. He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Troy Orndorff on May 10, 1994. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel, with interment to follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens. Friends and family may call at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to his grandchildren's education fund. Contributions may be made at any of the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service locations.
