Mary L. King 88, of Decatur, passed away Friday August 26, 2016 at her residence. Mary was born on September 3, 1927 to the late Truman H. and Naomi P. (Bracht) Goldner in Adams County, Indiana. On May 20, 1944 she married Leo H. King. He preceded her in death on October 7, 2015. Mary was member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and also managed J.J. Newberry from 1967-1974. She is survived by one son Larry (Barb) King of Cable, OH; three daughters, Marsha (Noel) Hunt of Amboy, IN, Dianna (Dale) Workinger of Greentown, IN and Linda Heimann of Decatur; one sister Ellen M. (Howard) Allison of Franklin, NC., one half brother Richard Goldner of Tampa, Fl., one half sister Debra (Vince) Judy of Columbia City, IN., 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Mary was also preceded in death by three brothers James, Robert and William Goldner, two half brothers Gregory and Truman Goldner, three step brothers Leroy, Norval, and David Sprunger and one half sister Judith Weiland. Visitation will be on Tuesday August 30, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home and from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday August 31st at the church. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, with Pastor Chris Gadlage officiating. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery.
