Joshua Boyd Reynolds, 34, of Carterville and formerly of Monett, Missouri, went to be home with the Lord on Saturday, September 3, 2016, in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Joshua was born on January 13, 1982, in Murphysboro, to Kevin and Susie (Watson) Reynolds. After graduating from high school, Joshua worked as a CNA in Monett, Missouri, Sedalia, MO, and Carbondale. He liked fishing and riding 4-wheelers. He also spoke French fluently. Joshua is survived by his parents Kevin and Susie Reynolds of Carterville; Uncles and aunts Joe Watson of Carterville, Karen and Bill Childers Rhonda Ponde, Randy and Pam Reynolds, all of Murphysboro, Howard and Pat Reynolds of Dowell and Rick and Janice Reynolds of Vienna; a great aunt Mary Lou Reynolds and her family Melanie and Earl Imhoff, all of Murphysboro; many cousins, and many special friends from Monett, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his sister Heather Joy Reynolds, his paternal grandparents Howard C. Reynolds and Eunice Reynolds Ellis, his maternal grandparents Dr. C. E. Boyd and Joy S. Boyd, and her uncle Larry Reynolds. Gravesite services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016, in Rosehill Cemetery, Northeast corner of Rt. 13 and Rt. 37 N.
