Jack Joseph Newberry Obituary

Jack Joseph Newberry, 74, of Byron, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, May 31, 2016. Funeral Services to honor his life will be held Friday, June 3, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon. Tony Jones will officiate. Burial will be immediately following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will have a time of visitation to greet friends, Thursday, June 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Born in Macon to the late Allen and Hazel Newberry, Jack was employed by Union 669 for 45 years where he worked as a sprinkler fitter. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Jack loved to fish but was his happiest when he was spending time with those he loved most, his family. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Hazel Newberry. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Jane Newberry. Children; Sherry Taylor of Pennsylvania, Keith Newberry (Becky), and David Newberry (Lynn). Seven Grandchildren; Karin, Kendra, Janee, Tracy, Brandon, Allen and Chad. Three Great Grandchildren; One Sister; Janice Allison of Summerville, Texas and his two donkeys.
