Anthony H Furmato 71 of Toms River died Monday July 11, 2011 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. He was born, raised and lived in Jersey City prior to moving to Toms River 12 years ago. Anthony was a claims examiner for American Marine Insurance Management in New York City for 33 years and retired in 1998. Surviving is his wife of 23 years, Regina Lombardi Furmato, son, Robert of Toms River, daughter Maria Smith & husband Fred of Hackettstown, 3 step daughters and husbands Christine Rancourt & Joel of China, ME, Margaret Morin & Matt of Jacksonville, FL and Miriam Santana of Matawan, 3 brothers, Matthew of Keyport, Joseph of Pt. Pleasant, and Pete of Brick, sister, Anne Jakubowski of Monroe and 6 grandchildren. Visitation is Monday 2-4 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd. Manchester with 3:30 pm services.
