Barbara Lee Karaba 53 died Thursday August 18th at Community Medical Center, Toms River. She worked as a French Teacher for the Manchester Board of Education in the Ridgeway Middle School. Born in Long Branch, she resided in Rumson for 10 years and then Oceanport from 1968-86, before moving to Toms River 25 years ago. She graduated in 1980 from Georgian Court College with a BA in Education. Traveling and entertaining her family and friends in her home were some of the many things she enjoyed. She is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Dominick & Theresa Olivadoti and stepfather Charles F Josselyn Jr. Surviving is her husband, of 25 years, Kenneth E and her mother, Barbara R Josselyn of Oceanport, sons, Jeffrey of Toms River, Timothy & wife Janeene of Beachwood and James & wife Regina of Howell, daughters, Susan Brown of Vancouver, WA, brother, James Josselyn and his wife Karen of Oceanport, 2 grandchildren, Morgan & Alex Brown and niece & nephew Samantha & Andrew Josselyn of Oceanport and 4 cousins, Linda, Patricia, Jane, and Gary. Visitation is Sunday 1-5 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Monday 10:45 am at St Luke’s Church, Toms River.
