Mrs. Gaynell Baxter Blackledge, 53, of Baconton, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m, (TODAY) Saturday, June 18, 2016 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Born October 4, 1962 in Tuskegee, AL. Gaynell was a loving and caring friend to many. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working with flowers and spending time with her family and dogs that she dearly loved. She was preceded in death by her son, Kent Frazier III and her father, Floyd H. Baxter, Sr. Survivors include her husband, Frank “Ugly” Blackledge of Baconton; her mother, Betty Meadows Baxter of Baconton; 2 daughters, Ann Hitt of Sylvester and Misty Pritchard of Baconton; grandchild, Addison; brother, Floyd (Dawn) Baxter, Jr. of Baconton; sister, Lisa (Harvey) Garrett of Jacksons Gap, AL; special friends, Charlene Whitman of Tallassee, AL and several special cousins. The family will visit with friends following the service at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
