William R. “Bill” Plumley, 69, of Interlachen, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center following an extended illness. He was a native of Albany, NY and had lived in Putnam County for the past 23 years. He served in the US Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Bill had worked as an auto tech for many years and in his spare time enjoyed karaoke and cooking. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by 3 sons, 3 daughters, 1 step-son, 1 step-daughter, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 6 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Bostwick Cemetery with Chaplain Bob Kendall officiating.
