Edward Keene

Edward G. Keene, Jr., 80, of Satsuma, passed from this life on Friday, September 9, 2016 at his home following an extended illness. He was born in Palatka and was a lifelong resident of Putnam County. Edward lived to work and loved his 27 years working at Ryan Manufacturing. In addition to his love of work, he enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward G. Keene and Mozelle Vining Keene, a step-daughter, Brenda Sue Kinlaw, a sister, Ola Mae Tweedle and 2 brothers, Edgar Keene and Buster Keene. Edward is survived by his wife of 27 years, Carolyn G. Keene of Satsuma, 2 sons, William Rowland (Barbara) and Robert Rowland (Shannon), all of Satsuma, 6 daughters, Connie Cappel of Satsuma, Joyce Rowland (Jody Williams) of Satsuma, Linda Keene, Carolyn Keene, Christy Keene and Theressa Keene, a brother, Jimmy Keene of Palatka and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.
