Clifford Eric Kinzel, 61, of Palatka, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Putnam Community Medical Center. A native of New York City, New York, Cliff resided in Putnam County since 2006 coming from Stony Point, New York. He attended the Lutheran Church while in New York. Cliff was a client of the Association of Retarded Citizens (ARC) Community. Among things Cliff enjoyed were eating, shopping at Dollar Tree, batting a ball, bike riding and just socializing with people. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Kinzel and Lillian Heis Kinzel. Cliff is survived by a sister, Karyl McAdams (Dave) of Interlachen, a brother, Paul Kinzel of Interlachen, 2 nieces, Kayla Kinzel and Marissa Kinzel of Orlando and his God-mother, Annely Schneider of Moss Landing, CA. Memorial services will be at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Pastor Rick Freese officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Cliff’s memory to the ARC of Putnam County, 1717 Westover Drive, Palatka, FL 32177. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home.
