Jerrie Joiner

Jerrie "MeeMaw" Joiner, 69, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Friday, October 14, 2016, following a year long battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was born in Illinois, but moved to Milton, Florida, as a young teenager where she met her dearly beloved, Lamar, and spent the rest of her life. Jerrie is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theron Smith; her father-in-law, William Lonzie Joiner; and her grandson, Zachery Alan Conrad. She is survived by her husband of 51 glorious years, Lamar Joiner; her two children, Kimberly (Kevin) Jernigan, and Jody (Chanda) Joiner; her ten grandchildren, Ryne (Ashley) Jernigan, Korey Jernigan, Kassi (Calvin) Cook, Kyle (Jazmin Lee) Conrad, Steven (Kyndal Cobb) Jernigan, Peyton Jernigan, Dalton Jernigan, Kirstyn Joiner, Sawyer Joiner, and Colton Joiner; five great-grandchildren; multiple brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews, and her mother- in-law, Beulah Joiner. A celebration of Jerrie's life will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2016, at Milton Assembly of God Church (6163 Dogwood Drive, Milton, Florida 32570), with Pastor Fred Rogers officiating. Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., prior to the service. Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, has been entrusted with arrangements.
