Earl Dean Cooley, 84, of Pace, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016. Earl was born November 12, 1931, in Munson, Florida, to Tracy and Nettie (Adams) Cooley. He worked in maintenance at St. Regis. Earl married Flora Ash, April 15, 1950, in Lucedale, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tracy and Nettie Cooley; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charlie and Mary Ash; son, Michael Cooley; and his siblings, Vonzie Cooley, Flois Cooley, OC Cooley, David Cooley, and Myrtle Huffstaller. Earl leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 66 years, Flora (Ash) Cooley; children, Patricia (Ray) Sunday, Ronald (Pam) Cooley, Stephen (Janet) Cooley; Donald Cooley, Elizabeth (Nick) Overeem and Dawn Cooley; seventeen grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Faith Chapel Assembly of God Church (8080 South Airport Road, East Milton). Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Faith Chapel Assembly of God Church. Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, has been entrusted with arrangements.
