Charles Edward "Chuck" Price, 84, of Milton, Florida, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016. He was born in Montgomery, Alabama, on May 17, 1932, to the late Joseph Melvin Price and Ruby Bernice (Phillips) Price. Charles retired from the Navy in 1970 out of Millington, Tennessee, as Chief Petty Officer, a military career he was always proud of. He went on to teach and instruct Aviation at Linn Technical College in Linn, Missouri. While he had held many positions since then, his true love had always been flying. Charles was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and had reached 32nd degree Mason. He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to fish and hunt. He loved to travel and see the world; he took many exciting trips overseas to Australia, Germany, and other countries. Charles is preceded in death by a brother, Mel Price; a sister, Pauline Bagwell; and granddaughter, Alicia Marie Ruthe. Charles is survived by his loving wife, Irene DeLancey - Price; two sons, Donald E. Price of Superior, Arizona, and Mark S. Price of Buckeye, Arizona; two daughters, Lisa (Jay) Schoenherr, and Brenda (George) Guilford, both of Milton, Florida; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Price of Montgomery, Alabama; and his ever faithful dog “Toby”. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Visitation for family and friends will be held 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., prior to the services.
