Adeline Aulenbacher

Adeline P. Aulenbacher, 85, of Milton, Florida, passed away Friday, September 19, 2016. Originally from Pleasantville, Pennsylvania, “Addie” had lived and worked in Santa Rosa County for over 40 years. A beloved member of the community, Addie served as a nurse for the Santa Rosa County Health Department for 22 years before retiring. She had a love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed gardening. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Addie is preceded in death by her mother, Lydia Lypole; father, Manley Proctor; sister, Pauline Paden; and her loving husband of over 45 years, Jack Lewis Aulenbacher. She is survived by her sister, Donna Gordon of Pennsylvania; daughter, Kathleen Lewis of Milton, Florida; granddaughter, Jennifer Vines of Milton, Florida; and her most precious great-granddaughter, Brianna Rice of Milton, Florida. Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 22, 2016, at Lewis Funeral home, Milton Chapel, with Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Serenity Gardens Cemetery, Milton. The family would like to thank the staff at West Florida Hospital and Covenant Hospice for all their hard work and support during their time of need.
